The Termite Problem

Steve spent all yesterday tearing out the wall in our livingroom. This is what it looked like at eleven pm:

notice that there is no window in that wall nor is there a door. The still weren't even done framing at that time. Steve's friend Brad helped so much. It's good to have good friends like that who are willing to rearrange their schedules to help us out.

I still don't have dry wall on the wall, but we do have a window and door in place. We are thinking that the termites contained their damage to that one wall. If that is not the case, I really don't want to know. LOL!

Glad you have a window and a door. The rest will take time. Glad that Brad could stick it out. Steve drops everything to help everyone else. You'd think that more of them could return the favor.

And just think, now you can experiment with drywall texturing and make it "your way"

Brad was happy to help. Heaven knows Steve's come and given us a hand more than once. :)

Glad things are starting to go back together!

You know I didn't even hear about what was going on until the day before. I am thinking one of two things either one Ben and are are incompetent to assist or you just decided we wouldn't come anyway. That just hurts my feelings. We would have tried and we can carry things. :) Next project and expect an invite.

OH MY! You poor things!

I'm so glad you've got good people to help you out. We'd have been there in a heartbeat, if we lived just a titch closer!

Good luck getting your house put back together!
